Renowned architect Hal Thomson designed and built this Colonial Revival home in 1921 as his family’s personal residence, where he lived for several decades. Featured in several books and often called one of the most charming homes in Dallas, it stands as a testament to his lasting impact, style, and influence on the neighborhood.

After remaining with the same owners for 44 years, it came on the market for the first time in spring 2024. Longtime PPC board member and preservationist Cynthia Beaird purchased the property to save it from demolition. To date, Beaird has preserved 51 historically significant homes, restoring each one to protect Dallas’s architectural heritage, and connected buyers with 75 more homes that have been restored or preserved. We look forward to the Hal Thomson home’s bright future.
